That is actually a loggerhead nest. Loggerhead season started about two weeks ago and over the past few nights, it has really picked up. We are seeing a few dozen nests each day but that will increase greatly in the coming weeks. If you look at our stakes, the top two letters tell you the species. DC is leatherback, CC is loggerhead, and CM is green turtle. Hope to see you out on the beach!

That is actually a loggerhead nest. Loggerhead season started about two weeks ago and over the past few nights, it has really picked up. We are seeing a few dozen nests each day but that will increase greatly in the coming weeks. If you look at our stakes, the top two letters tell you the species. DC is leatherback, CC is loggerhead, and CM is green turtle. Hope to see you out on the beach!

That is actually a loggerhead nest. Loggerhead season started about two weeks ago and over the past few nights, it has really picked up. We are seeing a few dozen nests each day but that will increase greatly in the coming weeks. If you look at our stakes, the top two letters tell you the species. DC is leatherback, CC is loggerhead, and CM is green turtle. Hope to see you out on the beach!
